The studio assistant is the lowest ranking professional in the photography world.
Most, if not all, of the assistants are young photography graduates who are trying to get a foot in the industry, working behind the scenes for extremely long hours.
This project portrays my former colleagues in three of the best studios in London.
Some of us have since gone on to become successful photographers of our own.
